We would certainly want to, but we’ve got an image to maintain so we have a few requirements. We look for partner venues that:
Have adequate, well-lit, reasonably priced parking, are in good repair, have a separate area or room, have a welcoming curb appeal, can ensure that the background noise is kept to a conversational level during the event. Our guests are here to talk to each other and we don’t want them to be pressured into “intimate distance” just to hear. Intentional Interactions has professionally hosted and professionally organized LIVE singles events.

At present, we do not have a membership program, but we are considering it for the future. It would be a set price for all events for the month.

Matches are not guaranteed, but a well-organized event with a friendly host is. We book “private” space and have thought through all the details so that you can relax and get chatting. Some daters come looking for a very specific type, but we encourage you to be open-minded. You must ask for their contact information to continuing the conversation.

Yes! During our events, your host will be walking around. Usually, they are handing out icebreaker cards and saying hello, while keeping an eye out for the body language that says you’re ready for the next conversation. We’re great at improvising, but questions like “can you show me where the bathroom is” or “can I fill out a new icebreaker card” will get you smoothly whisked away from your conversation. Awkward happens, but if the conversation was inappropriate, do let us know. Instead of whisking you away, we’ll walk someone else to the door.

Not at this time. Our goal is to facilitate Intentional Interactions for all singles, however previous attempts to offer LGBTQ+ events resulted in low turnout. We would love to add these events in the future if enough people express an interest. Please feel free to contact us to express interest. We keep a pulse on what types of events are in demand and will happily add these events once demand reaches a level that makes a successful event possible.

You sure can! We even have a special “Bring A Friend” ticket. They should be single as well and registered to attend. Other event attendees will assume (and rightfully so!) that everyone is single, so let’s avoid awkward conversations or embarrassing interactions.

FYI, no one is “single for the night” if there is someone at home waiting for them.

Yes. We have singles host our events because they can better relate to the guests; they’ve been in your shoes and are there to support you.

Yes, free event tickets are given away during our events, some of our door prizes and are also given away for filling out comment cards.

Balance in the room is very important. If an evening is full, just scroll down our calendar to find another date that works for you!
If your gender is sold out, add yourself to the waitlist – as registrations of the other gender catch up, we may add additional tickets and you’ll be notified first.
We would love to sell an additional ticket, however, we stand by our product and prioritize your experience over profits.

We don’t share your contact information unless you want us to. Exceptions to this would be if there is a health emergency while you are attending an event, or if we are required to by law.

Absolutely – we don’t want to end up with people not coming to what is likely to be a sell-out event (with more demand than we have tickets!) because they’ve found the one and we don’t want that holding you back either, so, we are happy to give you a refund on the face value of your tickets (excludes minimal booking fee) for up to 24 hours before the event.

No. Most of our events are not speed dating events. We do plan on offering speed dating in the future, but it will not be our focus.
We’re more about you chatting to who you want to, for as long as you want to, no pressure. Think of a night out in a stunning bar/restaurant, with loads of men and women and they’re all a similar age to you and single!

Yes. Give or take 5 years.
We understand that there will be people who would like to attend a given event who fall just outside the age range by a few years and that’s completely ok.
We also understand that there are people who prefer to date up or down by more years than our windows capture. If you prefer to match with someone in a different bracket, you are more than welcome to attend that bracket.
The reason for the age brackets is to try create a comfortable range. People in their 40s don’t tend to date people in their 20’s and don’t want to waste their time at an event where this is the range they will meet and vice versa.
We are looking for a lasting consistent relationship with us and not a single event.
